On the film Atlant we lost most of the budget on frames shown "on a hunch" and then redone again and again. The rule that stopped it: no work goes to the client until an auditor has checked it. In this lesson you'll learn to spot defects yourself and to run the check before the showing.

Checklist before every showing

• The hero's face matches the reference (compare side by side, not from memory)
• No plastic skin, cartoon look, extra fingers or seams
• The frame serves the task: meaning, feeling, the words of the song
• No repeats: this angle and emotion haven't appeared yet
• The source file is saved and its path is recorded
